Wave spring refers to the elastic component on the metal thin circular ring featuring a number of wave troughs. It is usually used for the circumstances where the load and deflection are not quite heavy and less spring stiffness shall be required and axial pre-pressure imposed.
Typical materials include 60Si2MnA（SAE 9260）, 50CrVA （SAE 6150）and various stainless steels.
The surface treatment methods of wave spring include bluing, phosphatization, galvanization, electrophoresis and etc.
